Renewable Energy Hits Record 35% of Global Electricity

Global renewable energy generation has reached a historic milestone, with solar, wind, hydro, and other clean sources now providing 35% of the world's electricity. The achievement comes ahead of most projections.

"We're moving faster than anyone predicted," said an energy analyst. "The economics of renewables have become so favorable that the transition is accelerating."
