Our mission
Good News Good Vibes collects real progress from around the world — in science, health, nature, communities, culture, sport and technology — and tells it in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French. Every story is based on published reporting and links to its original source, so you can read further and check it yourself.

How we choose stories
- Most stories report something real that happened, was measured or was achieved. Some cover plans, pledges or forecasts, and those are reported as such.
- Each story is based on published reporting or on an announcement from the organisation behind the news (a journal, agency, university, charity or public body), and links to that source.
- We try to keep the nuance: if progress is partial, early or local, the story should say so.
- We cover ten sections — science, health, sports, animals, innovation, community, human stories, culture, environment and AI — and when several reports cover the same event, we keep one story and point the others to it.
How we check them
Our process is largely automated and AI-assisted. This is what actually happens today:
- Stories are researched and drafted with the help of AI, working from the published source. The rule is simple: no invented events, numbers, quotes or organisations.
- Every story links to its original source, so you can compare what we wrote with what was reported.
- Most stories also carry an internal reliability score. It is not shown on the site and it is not a guarantee of accuracy.
- A person does not yet read every story before it is published, and some translations are drafted by machine. That is why the source link matters, and why your reports help.
Photos
- We choose a photo that shows the story’s actual subject — the species, place, person or thing it is about — rather than a generic stand-in, and we replace any we find that do not.
- Each photo is used for only one story.
- Photos come from Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay and Wikimedia Commons under free licences. When a licence requires credit, the photographer and licence appear under the photo, linked to the original file.
Corrections
- If a story gets something wrong — a fact, a number, a name, a translation or a photo — we correct it and update the article.
- If a story turns out not to be true, we remove it.
- To report an error, use the contact form and include the link to the story and what is wrong. Messages reach contact@saganlabs.ai.

Your privacy, in plain words
- Newsletter: signing up stores your email address and your language. We are collecting sign-ups for now and are not sending newsletter emails yet. We do not sell or share your address.
- Contact form: we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply, and forward the message to our team by email.
- Analytics: Google Analytics only loads if you accept it in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer.
